Bio
With the release of his new single, Jimmy Cormier is reintroducing the power and emotion that can come from real experiences told through music. Sun, Shine on the Flowers is the tip of the iceberg in terms of musicality, originality and feeling.
Born and raised in Whittier Ca., in a musical household, Jimmy quickly became fascinated with all styles and genres of music. This lead him to the discovery of the guitar and all it's wonderful sounds and possibilities. He studied jazz guitar at Fullerton College under the direction of Dr. Joe Jewell and Michael Scott until he landed a life changing position working with Conrad Sewell (Kygo). Jimmy toured with Conrad across the US for a year or so then went on to work with other artists and companies. Some of these artists/music professionals include Edina Menzel, Half-Alive, Disney, Kevin Homma (Survivor), David Lamoureux (Augustana, Gwen Stefani), and Justin Siegel (Black Eyed Peas).
